Welcome to "Is it God's Word?" - a lay counseling ministry, consisting of believers who have been harmed through bad church experiences, providing support to other Christian believers who are or have been "spiritually abused" through destructive heresies in doctrine by a cult or through any Bible based church affiliation.
It is the goal and purpose of the author to utilize the pages of this web-site to help promote healing from "spiritual abuse" by helping people connect to others who have been through similar experiences, to provide support and encouragement, and to educate Christian believers on the dynamics and effects of "spiritual abuse," and provide knowledge and education on how to recognize an unhealthy vs. healthy church. We hope to facilitate and help restore believers confidence in God, the Bible, and other Christian believers that was tainted by abuse.
